Jamie Villemonte LICSW, LAC, CIMHP

Within the vast field of social work, I've been fortunate to have worked with individuals, couples, families and groups within an array of platforms.

When I discovered social work in 2009, I knew I had found my career. I was very excited as I began my educational journey at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where I received my Bachelors and my Masters in Social Work.

My career started working with adolescents and families within probation, residential, day treatment programs and in-home therapy settings.

As I worked at a therapist in community mental health, I was able to see where my skills were matched best; working within anxiety, depression, PTSD, adjustment disorders, grief, life transitions, attachment disorders and addiction are what connect with my natural and clinical skills.

I use a trauma informed lens at all times, along with eastern philosophy of mindfulness, compassion and self-love as clients work though their story to unveil the truth, and not what we are told to believe.

I support and monitor a healing platform. When people find what they really connect to, within their values, spirituality, relationships and coping skills, they find their path of healing. I have a liberal and spiritual base, and I believe in oneness and connection.

Please don't hesitate to reach out and ask questions to see if this would be a good connection for your therapeutic journey.
